Sunset Pine
This tree is only about 2 miles from my home, so I am always ready to go out for a good fiery sunset shot. This night it worked great.

All By Myself
Every once in awhile as I am hiking in the woods strange things seem to catch my eye. This little tiny pine cone, hanging on a branch all by its lonesome called out my name. This was taken on the shores of the Peshtigo River in Daves Falls Park.

Reaching for the Sky
I had my camera on a tripod, set up in the middle of the group, looking straight up to shoot the center of the birch tree clump. It was a tough set up, but worth it.

Favorite Tree
Another shot of my tree. Very cloudy morning but the sun just managed to break through the clouds. You can also see the silhouettes of a couple kids playing in the tree along with an ice shanty in the distance. Aspens
I made this picture of these aspens in northern WI. I liked the contast between the trunks of the trees and the green leaves. I also liked keeping the darker shadows in the background as added contrast and depth.
