I told my husband not to take the snowmobile across the pond because it wasn't safe. He didn't listen and now has a little damage to the front of the machine from hitting a rock....yes, a rock of all things on the pond. I happened to have my camera out and captured a picture of him being naughty. LOL
P.S. The wife is always right. ;)
This little guy came to the deck and looked up for this portrait.
The Circle Of Life
A shot from yesterday. Two eagles eating something that died while a group of deer observe. The circle of life in one photo.
(Just posting this for your entertainment-It's not eligible for POTD since I just recently received one).
It's the little things...
This young buck was savoring the sweet apple and enjoying a little sunshine on a beautiful Fall day.
With all the snow out there right now, I'm missing the warm sunshine and green grass.
Over The Shoulder
Just your average 'over the shoulder' portrait. :)
Buck Fawn Portrait
I took this portrait by squatting down when I saw some deer heading towards me. He stopped and looked and then cautiously continued walking around me, always watching me out of the corner of his eye. His mom who is an extended part of our family by now, had gone that way so he felt it was 'safe.'
Looks like this friendly little doe fawn was shoveling a little snow with her snout.
It sure looks like we're feeding our cattle pretty good!
This buck was chasing a doe in one of our fields just before hunting season. He didn't want her going anywhere, but stopped and 'posed' when he heard my camera click. It wasn't enough to make him leave though. They watched me walk away after an hour of freezing on that windy, cold day.
