This is what Fall feels like to me.
Joe Slaby's boat house at the mouth of the Brule River. There is no limit to this man's imagination. I stopped in yesterday to visit with he and his wife.Their devotion to Art and each other is epic.
I was a bit intrigued with the mechanism that drives the center pivot point on this old railroad swing bridge,they were pretty ingenious.
Red, White & Blues Brothers
I have often seen this unusual sight on an old railroad bridge when entering Superior. Earlier this summer, by a chance encounter, I met the artist that painted it. It was his and a friends attempt to cover up some unsavory graffiti. I finally decided to slip my kayak into the Nemadji River and try and get a photo of Jake and Elwood.
These industrious insects are mesmerizing to watch as they dart from flower to flower.
I think I've always had an interest in Photography. The ability to convey images that interest you through a lens is very satisfying.
Living in Wisconsin these many years, experiencing the changes of seasons, the immense beauty is sometimes overwhelming.
